We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity to share with you. Located in Oatley you will be part of a care team supporting a Paediatric client. You will provide full assistance personal cares, medication administration, enteral feeding, tracheostomy management, suctioning and communication & play. An extensive onboarding program will be provided including clinical training and buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

Your key responsibilities:

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker, who can undertake the following key responsibilities,

• Personal Cares
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Suctioning
• Pressure area care and Skin integrity support
• Medication Administration
• Communication, Development & Play
• Manual Handling Including Repositioning & Transfers

About you.

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or above (relevant care certificates may also be considered)
• Tracheostomy Management ( Essential)
• Paediatric Experience ( Desired)
• Specific Disability / Complex Care experience (minimum 2 years experience)
• Manual handling certificate and experience (Essential)
• Medication Administration Certificate (Essential)
• Current First aid and CPR (Essential)
• Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check (Essential)
• NDIS Orientation Module (Essential)
• Working With Children's Check (WWCC) (Essential)
