Drake Medox is currently seeking Dental Assistants to join a trusted and community-focused provider located in the beautiful coastal towns of Port Macquarie and Lake Cathie. Our client delivers a full range of services including general check-ups, cleans, fillings, crowns, teeth whitening, dentures, orthodontics, and sleep dentistry. Known for their gentle, patient-first approach, the team provides premium dental care to children and adults alike, using modern equipment and evidence-based practices.


We're Looking For:

  • Experienced or qualified Dental Assistants (Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting preferred)

  • A positive, professional attitude with a passion for patient care

  • Great communication and teamwork skills

  • Availability for full-time hours across weekdays and weekends

  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing team


Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting dentists chairside during treatments

  • Experience or willingness to assist with reception and admin tasks, including appointment scheduling and patient communications

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Positive attitude and commitment to patient care

  • Maintaining infection control and sterilisation protocols

  • Preparing and restocking treatment rooms and instruments

  • Managing dental materials and stock

  • Supporting patients with care and comfort throughout their visit

  • Helping with basic administrative duties where needed

  • Preparing treatment rooms and managing dental materials and stock

  • Greeting patients and managing appointment bookings and patient enquiries at reception


About You:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a dental setting preferred

  • Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) highly regarded

  • Current Police Check

  • Working With Children Check

  • COVID-19 vaccination

  • Full Australian working rights
