The Role: Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

In this role, you will spend most of your time conducting behavioural assessments, developing Behaviour Support Plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with participants and their support networks.

You'll work closely with participants, families, carers, support workers, allied health professionals, and key stakeholders, and be responsible for delivering outcomes related to participant wellbeing, skill development, and compliance with NDIS practice standards.

The role balances autonomous community-based practice with collaborative stakeholder engagement, providing clear expectations and professional support from day one.

What You'll Bring

• Registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
• Demonstrated experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services within the NDIS sector
• Strong knowledge of the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework and restrictive practice requirements
• Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
• Excellent assessment, report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration or the ability to obtain one
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
