About the role

We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity to share with you. Located in Bunbury, you will be part of a care team supporting our client.

As a disability support worker, you will work alongside Allied Health and Nursing teams to implement and maintain the clients personalised care and support needs, working towards each individual short- and long-term goals.

Shift Availability

• Daytime and evening shifts available, 7 days per week

Your key responsibilities

• Manual Handling
• Personal Care
• Medication Administration
• Community Engagement and Social Support
• Domestic Assistance
• Allied Health led programs

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience.

• Ventilator Competency desirable
• Preferred clinical and high care experience, preferred
• Dysphagia experience highly desirable
• Catheter, bowel care experience highly desirable

Essential

• Tracheostomy experience required
• PEG experience required
• NDIS screening check, or willingness to obtain
• NDIS Orientation certificate
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Accredited Manual Handling and Medication Administartion Certificate
• Dual Covid-19 vaccinations
• Valid WA driver's licence and reliable, insuredvehicle
