We are currently seeking a motivated Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing client in Bundaberg. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step away from traditional Monday-Friday work and into a role that offers work-life balance, structured shifts, and long-term career development within a supportive team environment.

You'll be part of a business that values its employees, promotes safe working practices, and encourages continuous improvement on the production floor.

If you're a "can-do" individual looking for a fresh start or to build a career in manufacturing, this is the opportunity for you.

Your benefits.

  • Work-Life Balance That Actually Works - Enjoy a structured 3-week rotating roster with built-in days off, giving you more time to recharge, spend with family, or pursue your interests
  • Consistent Overtime Built In - Approximately 10 hours of overtime included in each roster cycle, boosting your overall earnings
  • Stable, Full-Time Employment - Join a well-established and highly regarded organisation offering long-term job security
  • Career Growth Opportunities - Genuine pathways to upskill and progress within the business
  • Supportive Team Environment - Work alongside experienced operators in a collaborative and safety-focused workplace
  • Modern Facilities & Equipment - Exposure to automated systems, HMI technology, and structured production processes
  • Training & Development - Ongoing on-the-job training with a company that invests in its people
  • Safety-First Culture - Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, ensuring you go home safe every day
  • Variety in Your Role - Hands-on work across machine operation, quality, and process improvement-no two days feel the same
  • Entry into a Growing Industry - Ideal opportunity to build a long-term career in manufacturing, even if you're transitioning from another field

Your key responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently to meet daily output targets, while assisting with machine setups, changeovers, shutdowns, and cleaning processes. You will use HMI systems to control, monitor, and adjust production operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with Workplace Health & Safety standards.

The role also involves conducting in-process and final quality inspections, reporting any incidents, hazards, near misses, or non-conformances promptly, and contributing to Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, and 5S initiatives. Where licensed, you will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, while maintaining accurate production records, ensuring material traceability, and upholding high housekeeping standards across the work area.

About you.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is desirable (other backgrounds considered)
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on role
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using systems/HMI screens
