Drake Medox provides home care support services for individuals who have suffered from a stroke. The impact of a stroke is different for every person. The extent of its impact is largely dependent on the size and the area of the brain that has been impacted.
Following a stroke, the brain has an intrinsic ability to rewire its circuits when damaged, however, each person affected will have different problems or challenges and will require rehabilitation to help relearn lost skills. Some may require daily support and care. At Drake Medox, our personalised support can range from a few hours per day to 24-hour care.
Our specialised team of support staff will develop individualised homecare plans in conjunction with the client based on their own unique needs and requirements. We encourage clients and their families to be part of the recruitment process to ensure we build a high-quality support team.
