About the role

We have an exciting short-term opportunity available with Drake Medox for a compassionate and experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) to support an aged care client in their home.

This is a 2-week temporary assignment, running daily from 4th to 17th January, providing 2 hours of care each morning. Start times are flexible and can be adjusted to suit the nurse's availability, however availability across all dates is essential.

You will work as part of a supportive care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing support to ensure the client's comfort, safety, and wellbeing in their home environment.

Shift details

• Temporary role: 2 weeks

• Dates: 4th - 17th January (daily availability required)

• Hours: 2 hours per day

• Shifts: Morning only

• Start time: Flexible

Your key responsibilities

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing person-centred nursing care to an aged care client in the home

• Supporting daily living activities and promoting comfort and dignity

• Medication support in line with care plans and scope of practice

• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition

• Working collaboratively with the broader Drake Medox clinical team

• Completing accurate documentation and reporting to the Clinical Coordinator

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Enrolled Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration

• Experience supporting aged care clients (essential)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently in a home-care setting

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• National Police Check
