About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers who are patient, kind, and understanding, and who can provide consistent, person-centred support. The ideal candidates will be physically capable of walking for extended periods, as this client strives to achieve a daily goal of 10,000 steps. An interest in health and fitness is also important, as support workers may be required to assist this client during gym sessions by supporting him to follow his program safely and ensuring exercises and weights remain appropriate.

This role is well suited to individuals who value building genuine connections, promoting independence, and supporting an active and fulfilling lifestyle in a safe and encouraging manner

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker, who can undertake the following key responsibilities, 

• Personal Cares
• Medication Administration
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Dysphagia and aspiration management at mealtimes
• General household tasks
• Organisation of stock and ordering
• Gym access and assistance
• Being comfortable walking long distances
