The Role: Disability Support Worker

  • Provide full personal care and daily living support
  • Deliver clinical support including medication management, Personal Care and Community access
  • Support communication and assistance with appointment management
  • Assist with safe manual handling
  • Complete medication administration and basic household support

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Not Mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or complex care
  • Current manual handling and medication administration certification
  • Previous disability, mental health, youth work, community services, ABI or TBI support experience
  • Current Driver's Licence (essential)
  • Reliable vehicle and willingness to transport participants
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (preferred)
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and provide person-centered support

Highly desirable

  • Experience supporting people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Access to a 4WD vehicle, as property access may occasionally require it.
  • Experience supporting community participation, rehabilitation, and independent living goals.
