We are currently recruiting Disability Support Workers to provide 2:1, 24/7 support for a male client in his own home in Croydon. If you want to make a real difference and be part of a dedicated care team, this is the role for you.

About the Role
You will provide 24/7, 2:1 support to help our client live a happy, meaningful, and independent life. You'll assist with:

  • Personal care, dressing, and meal preparation

  • Community outings and scheduled activities

  • Building trusting relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment

  • Supporting his interests in gaming, sports, and social engagement

Our client is kind, caring, and confident, with a great sense of humour. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, active nights, and sleepovers.


About You
We are looking for a Disability Support Worker who is:

  • Respectful, patient, and professional

  • Experienced in managing challenging behaviours and mental health support

  • Committed to enabling independence and supporting community participation

  • Able to build trusting relationships and create a safe, supportive environment


Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care experience

  • Challenging Behaviour Management

  • Community access support

  • Domestic assistance

  • 2:1 support

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Previous disability and mental health experience (minimum 1 year)

  • Personal care experience

  • Experience managing challenging behaviours

  • Minimum Level 3 in Disability Support or equivalent

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • NDIS Screening Card
