About the Role

We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity for Registered Nurse. Located in Narrabundah, you will be part of the care team to support our veteran client with wound care, who is living with his wife. Due to the nature and complexity of the client's needs, you will need to have relevant community nursing experience. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

The right candidates will be flexible and available to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00 and cover any gaps when they occur.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Wound Management

• Deliver true and authentic companionship to the client
• Champion the client to achieve their set goals for the day
• Assist and support the client in the home

About You

• AHPRA (Mandatory)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Mandatory)
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates (Essential)
• Proof of your right to work in Australia

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client focused.

Skills and Experience

• First Aid and CPR certificate - (Essential)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check - (Essential)
• AHPRA or relevant qualification - (Essential)
• NDIS worker orientation module - (Essential)
• Prior experience working as community nurse (preferred)
