About the role
We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity to share with you. You will be part of a care team to assist a female with a complex care needs. Drake Medox is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working support workers to work across 6 -7 hour roster, Monday - Friday.

Our client has high complex needs and requires support workers to join their teams on a casual basis. Our ideal candidate would receive client specific training with stable, consistent hours. Due to the nature and complexity of the client's needs, you will need to have relevant disability experience. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Manual handling (highly desirable)
• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Domestic assistance

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Dementia Experience (highly desirable)
• Manual handling experience (essential)
• Personal care experience
• Behaviour Management (highly Desirable)
• Mental Health Experience (Highly Desirable)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Screening Clearance
• Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Minimum Certificate 3 in health care.

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client focused.
